Coercion is now not presented as direct threats but as influence, reliance, and subtle manipulation. This enhances the weight of player choices and creates a more consistent atmosphere across different paths.

The story structure has also been reorganised to support clearer long-term arcs. Early choices now subtly influence Laura’s internal logic, impacting not just scenes but also how she interprets events and people later on. The differences start small and gradually increase, rather than branching into caricatures.

Visually, the project is moving towards a more unified tone, emphasising mood, restraint, and tension rather than excess. This remaster aims to preserve the game's original identity while strengthening it, making it more focused and more sustainable as a long-term endeavour.
